(eastern). Only in N. T., and then with reference to Asia Minor, or even to western Asia Minor, with the capital at Ephesus (Acts 2:9; 6:9; 16:6⁹Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, (Acts 2:9)
