The Endor episode has a loud voice to men today. Nothing is to be gained by even the attempt to communicate with the dead, but everything is to be gained by giving attention to the voice of God. The Holy Scriptures, now happily complete, tell us all that we need to know concerning both heaven and hell. He who turns away from the divine voice speaking therein lays himself open to the worst deceptions of Satan, to his eternal ruin.
