Blood

All the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. And the fish  .  .  . died; and the river stank.
This water, instead of being a source of life became that which speaks of death - blood! Romans 6:2323For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) says, “The wages of sin is death.” What a contrast to the word of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 4:1414But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14), “The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
