D STANDS for danger
For all who delay,
Who put off salvation
To some future day.
E for eternity—
List while I tell,
You'll spend it forever
In heaven or hell.
A stands for all,
And there's offered to you
A full, free salvation,
And nothing to do.
T stands for taking
From God's heart of love
The gift that He offers—
His Son from above.
H is for heaven,
And also for hell,
In one or the other
You surely must dwell.
Since danger is near you,
Eternity too, Salvation for all,
Offered freely to you.
Then taking His Son
As your Saviour and Friend,
In heaven you'll be—
Blessed day without end.
