And now I exhort you to be of good cheer.
Paul and those with him on the ship were in the middle of a most violent storm at sea. It was so bad that no one thought they would make it. But during the night the Lord spoke to Paul and encouraged him. The next day Paul exhorts those with him “to be of good cheer.” Yes, Jesus is with us in the storms of life. Nothing should break that peace of heart that all believers should have knowing that the Almighty is with us in our distresses.
