And he said, Let me go. . . . And [Jacob] said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
Jacob had hold of someone who was the only source for blessing. And so Jacob refused to let him go. Are we that determined to hold on to the Lord - the source of all our blessing? Worldly temptations would cause us to loosen our grip. Hold on! Don’t let go of the Lord. The end is in sight. Eternal blessing is just around the corner.
