(Psalm 96:9). “Holiness becometh Thine house, O Lord, for ever.” Psa. 93:55Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever. (Psalm 93:5).
“Holiness is the activity of [God’s] nature in its own delights” (JND). Holiness must be maintained in the assembly or it will cease to be an assembly. Truth, all the truth (John 16:1313Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. (John 16:13)), has been entrusted to the Church. It is responsible to be “the pillar and base of the truth.” 1 Tim. 3:15 JND. May we be faithful in keeping it.
