• Verses 19-21 give the answer of God to this prayer of confession. “Thy dead shall live, My dead bodies shall arise” (New Trans.). Here we have in a brief statement what is given in more detail in Ezekiel 37, and alluded to in Daniel 12:2 the national reviving of Israel, when God raises up and gathers His elect.
