(God’s mercy). (1) Son of Hezron (1 Chron. 2:9,42⁹The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai. (1 Chronicles 2:9)
⁴²Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron. (1 Chronicles 2:42)). (2) A Levite (1 Chron. 24:29²⁹Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel. (1 Chronicles 24:29)). (3) An official of Jehoiakim (Jer. 36:26²⁶But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the Lord hid them.
