The holy city . . . as a bride adorned for her husband.
Sometimes I get disgusted at all the paper, and cans, and bottles, and trash that accumulates and blows around the streets in our hometown. How different when God will create the new heavens and new earth. The holy city, new Jerusalem, will be absolutely spotless, pure and trashless. No more need for trash collectors. There’ll be no trash in this city. All the mess and man-made garbage will be gone. God’s new city will be clean and beautiful, just like a bride in her spotless, clean, white dress.
