Our gentle, loving Shepherd calms
Us timid little lambs through storms;
Our stubborn hearts He slowly forms
To be more like His own.
Every lamb does know His voice;
To come to Him must be our choice;
If our hearts we give to Him,
Angels surely will rejoice.
He His lambs shall not forsake;
Not one promise will He break;
Please, O Shepherd, come with haste,
That we may soon behold Thy face.
