THE NEGATIVE SIDE

"Not of works, lest any man should boast." Eph. 2:9⁹Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:9).

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done." Titus 3:5⁵Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Titus 3:5).

"All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags." Isa. 64:6⁶But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6).

"So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." Rom. 8:8⁸So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:8).

THE POSITIVE SIDE

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life." John 3:36³⁶He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36).

"There is none other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12¹²Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12).

"No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." John 14:6⁶Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6).

"By me if any man enter in, he shall be saved." John 10:9⁹I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (John 10:9).
