THE ENQUIRER

1 "How long have I to live?" (2 Sam. 19:34³⁴And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem? (2 Samuel 19:34).) "What is your life? it is even a vapor." (James 4:14¹⁴Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. (James 4:14).)

THE NEGLECTER

2 "How shall we escape?" (Heb. 2:3³How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Hebrews 2:3).) "They shall not escape." (1 Thess. 5:3³For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3).)

THE REASONER

3 "How can these things be?" (John 3:9⁹Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (John 3:9).)

"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." (Luke 18:27²⁷And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. (Luke 18:27).)

THE REFUSER

4 "How long wilt thou refuse?" (Ex. 10:3³And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. (Exodus 10:3).)

"Ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life." (John 5:40⁴⁰And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. (John 5:40).)

THE DOUBTER

5 "How long halt ye between two opinions?" (Kings 18:21.)

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord." (Isa. 1:18¹⁸Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18).)

THE PROFESSOR

6 "How earnest thou in hither?" (Matt. 22:12¹²And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. (Matthew 22:12)). "They... have not submitted themselves unto

the righteousness of God." (Rom. 10:3³For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (Romans 10:3).)

THE UNBELIEVER

7 "How long will it be ere they believe Me?" (Num. 14:11¹¹And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them? (Numbers 14:11).)

"He that cometh to God must believe that He is." What shall your answer be?

(Heb. 11:6⁶But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6).)
