Isaiah 40:11

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. (Isaiah 40:11)
The pain of losing a child, whether through a miscarriage or as an infant, is very real. The arms feel so achingly empty. But the Lord Himself has lifted him out of our bosom, and His arms now hold our child in His bosom (1 Kings 17:19;
Isa. 40:11

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. (Isaiah 40:11)
). We still want to care for and to give to our precious bundle. God understands. He is the One who said it is more blessed to give than to receive. But know that even after we can no longer give as we long to do, God is tenderly holding our little lamb in His arms, and He remains our child’s Giver. Our little baby is now a “treasure in heaven” (
Matt. 6:20

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: (Matthew 6:20)
