City given to Joshua, and where he was buried (Josh. 19:50⁵⁰According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein. (Joshua 19:50); Josh. 24:30³⁰And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-serah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash. (Joshua 24:30); Judg. 2:9⁹And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash. (Judges 2:9)). Identified with Kefr Haris in the Mount of Ephraim, 32° 7' N, 35° 9' E.
