One day in a court room, the judge had a strange case to decide. There was a man and a woman both claiming that a certain dog was theirs. What would you do? The judge quickly found out who the dog belonged to. He put the man on one side of the room and the woman on the other side. Then the dog was let loose between them.
The man called “Teddy!” The woman called “Prince!” Immediately the dog ran to the man and jumped on him happily. The judge’s decision was easy
to make!
Children, there are two voices calling to you, too. One is the voice of Jesus the Savior. The other voice is of Satan the devil. Whose voice do you obey? To whom do you belong? “To whom [you] yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants [you] are” (Romans 6:1616Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? (Romans 6:16)).
The Lord Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine. ... My sheep hear My voice ... and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand” (John 10:14,27-2814I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. (John 10:14)
27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (John 10:27‑28)). His voice only calls us to good things!
