Trusting in Thy Son

"No more, my God, I trust no more
In all the works that I have done;
I leave the hopes I held before
For trusting in Thy Son.

"The best obedience of my hands
Dare not appear before Thy throne!
But faith can answer all demands
By pleading what Thy Son has done."
