What the "Precious Blood" can do.

IF a sinner thinks of the GUILT of sin, he needs to be JUSTIFIED. If he thinks of the DEFILEMENT of sin, he needs to be CLEANSED.

If he thinks of the Offense of sin, he needs to be FORGIVEN.

All this is accomplished for the feeblest believer by the “precious blood of Christ.”

Listen to the testimony of God’s Word: “Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by His BLOOD, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Rom. 5:9⁹Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (Romans 5:9)).

“The BLOOD of Jesus Christ God’s Son CLEANSETH us from all sin” (1 John 1:7⁷But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)).

“Without shedding of blood is no remission” (Heb. 9:22²²And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22)).

“In whom we have redemption through His BLOOD, the FORGIVENESS of sins” (Eph. 1:7⁷In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (Ephesians 1:7)).

“Of all the gifts Thy love bestows,

Thou Giver of all good,

Not heaven itself a richer knows

Than the Redeemer’s blood.”
