"Words Fitly Spoken"

We seek to serve our own generation by the will of God (Acts 13:3636For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: (Acts 13:36)). The Word of God is always the present truth and suited to the needs of this generation when guided by the Spirit in speaking it forth. The moral ways of God do not change with dispensations, but wisdom is needed in applying His Word. The enemy seems to be making a special attack on the Christian home and assembly, and we should not be ignorant of his devices (2 Cor. 2:1111Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11)).
