Psalm 147:2
2
The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. (Psalm 147:2)
, has any reference to the church. We believe that Jerusalem means Jerusalem, and Israel means Israel. No doubt the church may draw precious instruction from this passage of the Word, as well as from many other scriptures which primarily refer to Israel; but it is of the very last importance to be able rightly to divide the Word of truth. Serious damage is done to souls, and to the truth of God, through ignorance of what is called dispensational truth. We should seek to put things where God puts them and leave them there.
