“Sarah Anne.” We must answer your question in the words of inspiration “Whatsoever ye do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him” (
Col. 3:17
17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:17)
). And again, “Whether ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” (
1 Cor. 10:31
31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
). Now, could you take part in a raffle “to the glory of God,” or “in the name of the Lord Jesus?” Is it a matter upon which you could ask God’s blessing?
We cannot imagine how your “Christian friend” could ask such a question, or why you should be at any loss for an answer.
