Apothecary or perfumer. Exo. 30:25, 35²⁵And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil. (Exodus 30:25)
³⁵And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy: (Exodus 30:35)

Armorer. 1 Sam. 8:12¹²And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. (1 Samuel 8:12).

Baker. Gen. 40:1¹And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. (Genesis 40:1). 1 Sam. 8:13¹³And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. (1 Samuel 8:13).

Brick-maker. Gen. 11:3³And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. (Genesis 11:3). Exo. 5:7, 8, 18⁷Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. ⁸And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. (Exodus 5:7‑8)
¹⁸Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks. (Exodus 5:18).

Brazier. Gen. 4:22²²And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah. (Genesis 4:22). 2 Tim. 4:14¹⁴Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: (2 Timothy 4:14).

Carpenter. 2 Sam. 5:11¹¹And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house. (2 Samuel 5:11). Mar. 6:3.

Caulker. Eze. 27:9, 27⁹The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. (Ezekiel 27:9)
²⁷Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin. (Ezekiel 27:27).

Confectioner. 1 Sam. 8:13¹³And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. (1 Samuel 8:13).

Dyer. Exo. 25:5⁵And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, (Exodus 25:5).

Embroiderer. Exo. 35:35³⁵Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work. (Exodus 35:35). Exo. 38: 23.

Embalmer. Gen. 50:2, 3, 26²And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel. ³And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed: and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days. (Genesis 50:2‑3)
²⁶So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. (Genesis 50:26).

Engraver. Exo. 28:11¹¹With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold. (Exodus 28:11). Isa. 49:16¹⁶Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:16). 2 Cor. 3:7⁷But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: (2 Corinthians 3:7).

Founder. Jud. 17:4. Jer. 10:9⁹Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men. (Jeremiah 10:9).

Fuller. 2 Kin. 18:17. Mar. 9:3.

Gardener. Jer. 29:5⁵Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; (Jeremiah 29:5). John. 20:15.

Goldsmith. Isa. 40:19¹⁹The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains. (Isaiah 40:19).

Husbandman. Gen. 4:2²And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. (Genesis 4:2). Gen. 9:20²⁰And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: (Genesis 9:20).

Mariner, &c. Eze. 27:8, 9⁸The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots. ⁹The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. (Ezekiel 27:8‑9).

Mason. 2 Sam. 5:11¹¹And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house. (2 Samuel 5:11). 2 Chr. 24:12¹²And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the Lord, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the Lord. (2 Chronicles 24:12).

Musician. 1 Sam. 18:6⁶And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music. (1 Samuel 18:6). 1 Chr. 15:16¹⁶And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy. (1 Chronicles 15:16).

Potter. Isa. 64:8⁸But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. (Isaiah 64:8). Jer. 18:3³Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. (Jeremiah 18:3).

Lam. 4:2²The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! (Lamentations 4:2). Zec. 11:13¹³And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord. (Zechariah 11:13).

Refiner of metals. 1 Chr. 28:18¹⁸And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lord. (1 Chronicles 28:18). Mal. 3:2, 3²But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: ³And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. (Malachi 3:2‑3).

Rope maker. Jud. 16:11.

Silversmith. Acts 19:24²⁴For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen; (Acts 19:24).

Stone-cutter. Exo. 20:25²⁵And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. (Exodus 20:25). 1 Chr. 22:15¹⁵Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work. (1 Chronicles 22:15).

Ship-builder. 1 Kin. 9:26.

Smelter of metals. Job 28:2²Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone. (Job 28:2).

Spinner. Exo. 35:25²⁵And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen. (Exodus 35:25). Pro. 31:19¹⁹She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. (Proverbs 31:19).

Tailor. Exo. 28:3³And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. (Exodus 28:3).

Tanner. Acts 9:43⁴³And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner. (Acts 9:43). Acts 10:6⁶He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do. (Acts 10:6).

Tent-maker. Gen. 4:20²⁰And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. (Genesis 4:20). Acts 18:3³And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers. (Acts 18:3).

Weaver. Exo. 35:35³⁵Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work. Wine-maker. Neh. 13:15¹⁵In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals. (Nehemiah 13:15). Isa. 63:3³I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. (Isaiah 63:3).
