Whom God chooses. Psa. 65:4⁴Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. (Psalm 65:4). Eph. 1:3, 4³Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: ⁴According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (Ephesians 1:3‑4).

Whom God calls. Isa. 51:2²Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. (Isaiah 51:2). Rev. 19:9⁹And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. (Revelation 19:9).

Who know Christ. Mat. 16:16, 17.

Who know the gospel. Psa. 89:15¹⁵Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. (Psalm 89:15).

Who are not offended at Christ. Mat. 11:6.

Who believe. Luke 1:45⁴⁵And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. (Luke 1:45). Gal. 3:9⁹So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. (Galatians 3:9).

Whose sins are forgiven. Psa. 32:1, 2¹<<A Psalm of David, Maschil.>> Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. ²Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. (Psalm 32:1‑2). Rom. 4:7⁷Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. (Romans 4:7).

To whom God imputes righteousness without works. Rom. 4:6-9⁶Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, ⁷Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. ⁸Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. ⁹Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. (Romans 4:6‑9).

Whom God chastens. Job 5:17¹⁷Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: (Job 5:17). Psa. 94:12¹²Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; (Psalm 94:12).

Who suffer for Christ. Luke 6:22²²Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. (Luke 6:22).

Who have the Lord for their God Psa. 144:15¹⁵Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord. (Psalm 144:15).

Who trust in God. Psa. 2:12¹²Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. (Psalm 2:12). Psa. 34:8⁸O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. (Psalm 34:8). Psa. 40:4⁴Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. (Psalm 40:4). Psa. 84:12¹²O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. (Psalm 84:12). Jer. 17:7⁷Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. (Jeremiah 17:7).

Who fear God. Psa. 112:1¹Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. (Psalm 112:1). Psa. 128:1, 4¹<<A Song of degrees.>> Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. (Psalm 128:1)
⁴Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. (Psalm 128:4).

Who hear and keep the word of God. Psa. 119:2²Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. (Psalm 119:2). James. 1:25. Mat. 13:16 Luke 11:28²⁸But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. (Luke 11:28). Rev. 1:3³Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. (Revelation 1:3). Rev. 22:7⁷Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. (Revelation 22:7)

Who delight in the commandments of God. Psa. 112.1.

Who keep the commandments of God. Rev. 22:14¹⁴Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14).

Who wait for the Lord. Isa. 30:18¹⁸And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. (Isaiah 30:18)

Whose strength is in the Lord. 84:5.

Who hunger and thirst after righteousness. Mat. 5:6.

Who avoid the wicked. Psa. 1:1¹Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (Psalm 1:1).

Who endure temptation. Jas. 1:12¹²Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12),

Who watch against sin. Rev. 16:12¹²And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. (Revelation 16:12),

Who rebuke sinners. Pro. 24:25²⁵But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them. (Proverbs 24:25).

Who watch for the Lord. Luke 12:37³⁷Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. (Luke 12:37).

Who die in the Lord. Rev. 14:13¹³And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. (Revelation 14:13).

Who have part in the first resurrection. Rev. 20:6⁶Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6).

Who favor saints. Gen. 12:3³And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:3). Ruth 2:10¹⁰Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? (Ruth 2:10).

The undefiled. Psa. 119:1¹ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. (Psalm 119:1).

The pure in heart. Mat. 5:8.

The just. Psa. 106:3³Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. (Psalm 106:3). Pro. 10:6⁶Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. (Proverbs 10:6).

The children of the just. Pro. 20:7⁷The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. (Proverbs 20:7),

The righteous. Psa. 5:12¹²For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield. (Psalm 5:12).

The generation of the upright. Psa, 112:2.

The faithful. Pro. 28:20²⁰A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. (Proverbs 28:20).

The poor in spirit. Mat. 5:3.

The meek. Mat. 5:5.

The merciful. Mat. 5:7.

The bountiful. Deu. 15:10. Psa. 41:1¹<<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>> Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. (Psalm 41:1). Pro. 22:9⁹He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. (Proverbs 22:9). Luke 14:13, 14¹³But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: ¹⁴And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. (Luke 14:13‑14).

The peace-makers. Mat. 5:9.

Holy mourners. Mat. 5:4. Luke 6:21²¹Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. (Luke 6:21).

Saints at the judgment-day. Mat, 25:34.

Who shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. Luke 14:15¹⁵And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. (Luke 14:15). Rev. 19:9⁹And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
