It has been well said that “if we keep low, we can’t fall very far.” The following words were found in the Bible of a dear Christian:
Low at Thy feet, Lord Jesus,
This is the place for me;
There I have learned deep lessons,
Truths that have set me free!
Free from myself, Lord Jesus,
Free from the ways of men;
Chains of thought that once bound me,
Never can bind again.
None but Thyself, Lord Jesus,
Conquered this wayward will;
But for Thy love constraining,
I had been wayward still.
Blessing has always been found at the feet of the Lord Jesus. Let’s search our Bibles and find out what happened to those who took this low place.
