Job 19:25
25
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: (Job 19:25)
;
2 Timothy 1:12; 1
12
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (2 Timothy 1:12)
John 5:13
13
And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. (John 5:13)
It is the privilege of every child of God to know that he is saved, and yet I find ever so many people living in Doubting Castle. Why, it is
salvation by doubts
nowadays, instead of
by faith
; there are so few that dare to say, “I know that my Redeemer liveth; I know in whom I have believed.” We find most Christians nowadays shivering and trembling from head to foot — they do not know whether they are saved or not.
