Exhibited in Christ. John 1:14¹⁴And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14). 2 Cor. 4:6⁶For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6). Heb. 1:3³Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:3).

His name. Deut. 28:58⁵⁸If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; (Deuteronomy 28:58). Neh. 9:5⁵Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. (Nehemiah 9:5).

His majesty. Job 37:22²²Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. (Job 37:22). Psa. 39:1¹<<To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.>> I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. (Psalm 39:1). Psa. 104:1¹Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty. (Psalm 104:1). Psa. 145:5, 12⁵I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. (Psalm 145:5)
¹²To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. (Psalm 145:12). Isa. 2:10¹⁰Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty. (Isaiah 2:10).

His power. Ex. 15:1, 6¹Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. (Exodus 15:1)
⁶Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. (Exodus 15:6). Rom. 6:4⁴Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4).

His works. Psa. 19:1¹<<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>> The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork. (Psalm 19:1). Psa. 111:3³His work is honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. (Psalm 111:3).

His holiness. Ex. 15:11¹¹Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Exodus 15:11).

DESCRIBED AS

Great. Psa. 138:5⁵Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord. (Psalm 138:5).

Eternal. Psa. 104:31³¹The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works. (Psalm 104:31).

Rich. Eph. 3:16¹⁶That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (Ephesians 3:16).

Highly exalted. Psa. 8:1¹<<To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David.>> O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. (Psalm 8:1). Psa. 113:4⁴The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4).

Moses. Ex. 34:5-7⁵And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. ⁶And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, ⁷Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. (Exodus 33:18‑23).

Stephen. Acts 7:55⁵⁵But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, (Acts 7:55).

His Church. Deut. 5:24²⁴And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. (Deuteronomy 5:24). Psa. 102:16¹⁶When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. (Psalm 102:16).

Enlightens the Church. Isa. 60:1¹Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. (Isaiah 60:1). 2. Rev. 21:11, 23¹¹Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; (Revelation 21:11)
²³And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (Revelation 21:23).

Saints desire to behold. Psa. 63:2²To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. (Psalm 63:2). Psa. 90:16¹⁶Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. (Psalm 90:16).

God is jealous of. Isa. 42:8⁸I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. (Isaiah 42:8).

Reverence. Isa. 59:19¹⁹So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19).

Plead in prayer. Psa. 79:9⁹Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake. (Psalm 79:9).

Declare. 1 Chron. 16:24²⁴Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. (1 Chronicles 16:24). Psa. 145:5, 11⁵I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. (Psalm 145:5)
¹¹They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; (Psalm 145:11).

Magnify. Psa. 57:5⁵Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth. (Psalm 57:5).

The earth is full of. Isa. 6:3³And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. (Isaiah 6:3).

The knowledge of, shall fill the earth. Hab. 2:14¹⁴For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14).
