Glory unto Jesus be!

From the curse who set us free;

All our guilt on Him was laid,

He the ransom fully paid.
“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:4-5)
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” (Galatians 3:13)
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6)
“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)
“Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Timothy 2:6)

All that blessèd work is done,

God’s well-pleasèd with His Son;

He has raised Him from the dead,

Set Him over all as Head.
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (John 17:4)
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17)
“Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.” (1 Peter 1:21)
“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” (Colossians 2:10)

This we know, and cease to mourn,

Patient wait His sure return:

For His saints with Him shall reign —

"Come, Lord Jesus, come! Amen!"
“And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.” (2 Thessalonians 3:5)
“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:6)
“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20)
