Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
We sin against the Lord often. Our old nature is EXTREMELY active and sins EASILY. All sin is against God. The Psalm writer found the secret to helping him not sin against the Lord. He hid God’s Word in his heart. This is the only solution for us too. Then when Satan attacks, the Word of God can be used to fight against him. With it in our hearts, we can recall it in an instant and use it as evidence against him. Then he will flee from us.
