He That Receiveth Me

(John 12:4848He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:48))
"He that rejecteth Me!" Herein is condemnation.
He who hath heard the call,
Yet hath mocked God's gracious offer of salvation—
On him the final curse must fall.

(Matthew 10:4040He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. (Matthew 10:40))
"He that receiveth Me!" There is no condemnation!
Christ is the living Way;
And all who will may take the gift of free salvation,
And pass from death, through Him, today.

"He that receiveth Me!" Oh, not by vain endeavor
Eternal life is won;
One only sacrifice atoned for sin forever,
And life for us is in God's Son.
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
