• No sooner had his confession been made than the way of cleansing was revealed. Live coal that had been in contact with the sacrifice was applied to his lips and the sin and uncleanness removed. Only sacrifice can cleanse sin; a foreshadowing of the death of Christ. (“Isaiah 6” by F.B. Hole)
