1. PRAYER. Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. Psa. 33:22²²Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. (Psalm 33:22).

PROMISE. The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children. Psa. 103:17¹⁷But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; (Psalm 103:17).

2. PRAYER. Hear thou in heaven and teach thy people the good way wherein they should walk. 1 KINGS, 8:36.

PROMISE. I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way thou shouldest go. Isa. 48:17¹⁷Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. (Isaiah 48:17).

3. PRAYER. Help thou me. Psa. 119:86⁸⁶All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me. (Psalm 119:86).

PROMISE. Yea, I will help thee. Isa. 41:10¹⁰Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10).

4. PRAYER. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou host caused me to hope. Psa. 119:49⁴⁹ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. (Psalm 119:49).

PROMISE. He will ever be mindful of his covenant. Psa. 111:5⁵He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. (Psalm 111:5).

5. PRAYER. O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me to thy holy hill. Psa. 43:3³O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. (Psalm 43:3).

PROMISE. Ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace. Isa. 55:12¹²For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. (Isaiah 55:12).

6. PRAYER. Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. Psa. 132:8⁸Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. (Psalm 132:8).

PROMISE. In all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. Ex. 20:24²⁴An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. (Exodus 20:24).

7. PRAYER. Let thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness. 2 Chron. 6:41⁴¹Now therefore arise, O Lord God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness. (2 Chronicles 6:41).

PROMISE. I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. Psa. 132:16¹⁶I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. (Psalm 132:16).

8. PRAYER. Do not condemn me. Josh. 10:2²That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof were mighty. (Joshua 10:2).

PROMISE. Neither do I condemn thee; go, and sin no more. John 8:11¹¹She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (John 8:11).

9. PRAYER. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me. Psa. 25:5⁵Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (Psalm 25:5).

PROMISE. The Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13¹³Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. (John 16:13).

10. PRAYER. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psa. 61:2²From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalm 61:2).

PROMISE. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Prov. 18:10¹⁰The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10).

11. PRAYER. Abide with us. Luke 24:29²⁹But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. (Luke 24:29).

PROMISE. He shall give you a Comforter that shall abide with you forever. John 14:16¹⁶And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16).

12. PRAYER. Search me, O God and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts. Psa. 139:23²³Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: (Psalm 139:23).

PROMISE. I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins. Jer. 17:10¹⁰I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:10).

13. PRAYER. See if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psa. 139:24²⁴And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:24).

PROMISE. I lead thee in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment. Prov. 8:20²⁰I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: (Proverbs 8:20).

14. PRAYER. Keep me from my deadly enemies, who compass me about. Psa. 17:9⁹From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about. (Psalm 17:9).

PROMISE. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever. Psa. 125:2²As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. (Psalm 125:2).

15. PRAYER. Lord God, what wilt thou give me? Gen. 15:2²And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? (Genesis 15:2).

PROMISE. The Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory. Psa. 84:11¹¹For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11).

16. PRAYER. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psa. 51:7⁷Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. (Psalm 51:7).

PROMISE. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isa. 1:18¹⁸Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18).

17. PRAYER. O Lord, when wilt thou come unto me? Psa. 101:2²I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. (Psalm 101:2).

PROMISE. Yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Heb. 10:37³⁷For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (Hebrews 10:37).

18. PRAYER. Deliver the poor and needy; rid them out of the hand of the wicked. Psa. 82:4⁴Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. (Psalm 82:4).

PROMISE. He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul. Psa. 109:31³¹For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul. (Psalm 109:31).

19. PRAYER. O Lord, in wrath remember mercy. Hab. 3:2²O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. (Habakkuk 3:2).

PROMISE. In my wrath I smote thee, but in my favor have I had mercy on thee. Isa. 60:10¹⁰And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favor have I had mercy on thee. (Isaiah 60:10).

20. PRAYER. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant. Psa. 31:16¹⁶Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. (Psalm 31:16).

PROMISE. The Lord make his face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee. Num. 6:25²⁵The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: (Numbers 6:25).

21. PRAYER. Let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. Psa. 69:29²⁹But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. (Psalm 69:29).

PROMISE. He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks. Isa. 33:16¹⁶He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. (Isaiah 33:16).

22. PRAYER. O Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, Lord, thine eyes, and see. 2 Kings, 19:16.

PROMISE. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry. Psa. 34:15¹⁵The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. (Psalm 34:15).

23. PRAYER. Now, O Lord God, let thy promise be established. 2 Chron. 1:9⁹Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. (2 Chronicles 1:9).

PROMISE. All the promises of God in him are Yea, and in him Amen, to the glory of God. 2 Cor. 1:20²⁰For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (2 Corinthians 1:20).

24. PRAYER. Let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us. Psa. 79:8⁸O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low. (Psalm 79:8).

PROMISE. His tender mercies are over all his works. Psa. 145:9⁹The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. (Psalm 145:9).

25. PRAYER. Let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice; let them ever shout for joy. Psa. 5:11¹¹But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. (Psalm 5:11).

PROMISE. The meek shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Isa. 29:19¹⁹The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 29:19).

26. PRAYER. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Jer. 17:14¹⁴Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. (Jeremiah 17:14).

PROMISE. Behold, I will heal thee. 2 Kings 20:5⁵Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. (2 Kings 20:5).

27. PRAYER. Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Psa. 77:9⁹Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. (Psalm 77:9).

PROMISE. O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. Isa. 44:21²¹Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. (Isaiah 44:21).

28. PRAYER. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name; and deliver us. Psa. 79:9⁹Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake. (Psalm 79:9).

PROMISE. I will deliver thee, saith the Lord; and thou shalt not be given into the hands of the men of whom thou art afraid, for I will surely deliver thee. Jer. 39:17, 18¹⁷But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. ¹⁸For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 39:17‑18).

29. PRAYER. Be merciful, O Lord, unto thy people Israel, whom thou halt redeemed. Deut. 21:8⁸Be merciful, O Lord, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel's charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them. (Deuteronomy 21:8).

PROMISE. He will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. Deut. 32:43⁴³Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. (Deuteronomy 32:43).

30. PRAYER. Arise, O God, plead thine own cause. Psa. 74:22²²Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily. (Psalm 74:22).

PROMISE. The Lord shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion; for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come. Psa. 102:13¹³Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come. (Psalm 102:13).
