1. PRAYER. O Lord, thou art our Father; we all are the work of thy hand. Isa. 64: 8.

PROMISE. I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor. 6:18¹⁸And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:18).

2. PRAYER. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation. Psa. 38:22²²Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation. (Psalm 38:22).

PROMISE. God shall help thee, and that right early. Psa. 46:5⁵God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. (Psalm 46:5).

3. PRAYER. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse use from my sin. Psa. 51:2²Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm 51:2).

PROMISE. There shall be a fountain opened to the house of David for sin and for uncleanness. Zech. 13:1¹In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. (Zechariah 13:1).

4. PRAYER. I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord. Gen. 49:18¹⁸I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord. (Genesis 49:18).

PROMISE. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him. Lam. 3:25²⁵The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. (Lamentations 3:25).

5. PRAYER. When I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not. Psa. 71:18¹⁸Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come. (Psalm 71:18).

PROMISE. Even to your old age I am he; and even to hoary hairs will I carry you. Isa. 46: 4.

6. PRAYER. I water my couch with my tears. Psa. 6:6⁶I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. (Psalm 6:6).

PROMISE. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Psa. 126: 5.

7. PRAYER. HOW long shall the workers of iniquity boast themselves? Psa. 94:4⁴How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? (Psalm 94:4).

PROMISE. Hitherto shalt thou come, but no farther; and here shall thy proud waves be stayed. Jos. 38: 11.

8. PRAYER. Remember me, O my God, for good. Neh. 13: 31.

PROMISE. Is Ephraim my dear son? I do earnestly remember him still. Jer. 31:20²⁰Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 31:20).

9. PRAYER. Enter not into judgment with thy servant. Psa. 143:2²And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. (Psalm 143:2).

PROMISE. He that believeth on him that sent me, shall not come into condemnation. John 5:24²⁴Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24).

10. PRAYER. Give heed to me, O Lord. Jer. 18:19¹⁹Give heed to me, O Lord, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. (Jeremiah 18:19).

PROMISE. The Lord knoweth them that are his. 2 Tim. 2:19¹⁹Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (2 Timothy 2:19).

11. PRAYER. I would comfort myself, my heart is faint. Jer. 8:18¹⁸When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me. (Jeremiah 8:18).

PROMISE. I have satisfied the weary soul Jer. 31:25²⁵For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. (Jeremiah 31:25).

12. PRAYER. All we like sheep have gone astray. Isa. 53:6⁶All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6).

PROMISE. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock, so will I seek out my sheep. Ezek. 34:12¹²As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. (Ezekiel 34:12).

13. PRAYER. I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait. Psa. 130:5⁵I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. (Psalm 130:5).

PROMISE. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Isa. 40: 31.

14. PRAYER. I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. Gen. 32:26²⁶And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. (Genesis 32:26).

PROMISE. I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou shalt go. Gen. 28:15¹⁵And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. (Genesis 28:15).

15. PRAYER. I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. Psa. 38:18¹⁸For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. (Psalm 38:18).

PROMISE. He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. Psa. 103:10¹⁰He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. (Psalm 103:10).

16. PRAYER. O Lord God, wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel? Ezek. 11:13¹³And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel? (Ezekiel 11:13).

PROMISE. I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. Hos. 14:5⁵I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. (Hosea 14:5).

17. PRAYER. Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thy hand; forget not the humble. Psa. 10:12¹²Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. (Psalm 10:12).

PROMISE. I will dwell with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit. Isa. 57:15¹⁵For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (Isaiah 57:15).

18. PRAYER. My soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Psa. 143:6⁶I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. (Psalm 143:6).

PROMISE. If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. John 7:37³⁷In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. (John 7:37).

19. PRAYER. Let me not be ashamed of my hope. Psa. 119:116¹¹⁶Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. (Psalm 119:116).

PROMISE. Happy is he whose hope is in the Lord his God. Psa. 146:5⁵Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: (Psalm 146:5).

20. PRAYER. The Lord pardon thy servant in this thing. 2 Kings 5:18¹⁸In this thing the Lord pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon thy servant in this thing. (2 Kings 5:18).

PROMISE. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful work of, darkness. Eph. 5:11¹¹And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Ephesians 5:11).

21. PRAYER. We wept when we remembered Zion. Psa. 137:1¹By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. (Psalm 137:1).

PROMISE. Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tripe of Judah hath prevailed. Rev. 5:5⁵And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (Revelation 5:5).

22. PRAYER. Deliver me, O Lord from mine enemies; I flee unto thee to hide me. Psa. 143:9⁹Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me. (Psalm 143:9)

PROMISE. Who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? 1 Pet. 3:13¹³And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? (1 Peter 3:13).

23. PRAYER. O Lord behold, see we beseech thee, we are all thy people. Isa. 64:9⁹Be not wroth very sore, O Lord, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people. (Isaiah 64:9).

PROMISE. Ye are bought or with a price; therefore glorify God in Your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Cor. 6:20²⁰For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:20).

24. PRAYER. Where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained? Isa. 63:15¹⁵Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained? (Isaiah 63:15).

PROMISE For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee, Isa. 54:7⁷For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. (Isaiah 54:7).

25. PRAYER. I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel. Josh. 7:26²⁶And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day. (Joshua 7:26).

PROMISE. If any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father. 1 John 2:1¹My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (1 John 2:1).

26. PRAYER. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. Neh. 6:9⁹For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. (Nehemiah 6:9).

PROMISE. Mine arm shall strengthen him. Psa. 89:21²¹With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. (Psalm 89:21).

27. PRAYER. Lord, I will follow thee. Luke 9:57⁵⁷And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. (Luke 9:57).

PROMISE. If any man will come after me, let him deny himself. Luke 9:23²³And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9:23).

28. PRAYER. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and thy glory above all the earth. Psa. 108: 5.

PROMISE. From the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, my name shall be great among the Gentiles. Mal. 1:11¹¹For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 1:11).

29. PRAYER. Cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary. Dan. 9:17¹⁷Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. (Daniel 9:17).

PROMISE The Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Isa. 60:19¹⁹The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. (Isaiah 60:19).

30. PRAYER. O our God, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments. Ezra. 9:10.

PROMISE. Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Jer. 3:22²²Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God. (Jeremiah 3:22).

31. PRAYER. Our iniquities are increased over our heads, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. Ezra 9:6⁶And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. (Ezra 9:6).

PROMISE. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of his heritage? Mic. 7:18¹⁸Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. (Micah 7:18).
