When somebody is being questioned in a committee, the person assigned to the job as interrogator may have just a few minutes to ask questions. Therefore, the one asking the questions needs to get to the truth quickly. The interrogator might say, “Just answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the following questions.” They do this in the hope of saving valuable time. Knowing your time is valuable, I thought we might try this technique with questions concerning your eternal welfare. So, if I might politely ask, just answer “yes” or “no” to each of these seven questions.
Do you believe in life after death?
If one rose from the dead, would that help you believe in life after death?
Do you believe Christ rose from the dead?
Do you believe sin (actions God hates) exists?
Do you believe a just God could let a single sin go unpunished?
Do you believe a God of love would find some way to save us from our sins?
Do you believe God could become a man and die in the sinner’s place?
Thanks for answering these questions. In this life, I hope you go on thinking about such questions until you answer “YES” to the Savior and say “NO” to a life of unbelief and sin.
If you come to Christ, be sure to tell others about it. You will never be sorry you did.
