Love to Christ.

Exhibited by God. (Matthew 17:5). John 5:20²⁰For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. (John 5:20).

Even unto death. Acts 21:13¹³Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 21:13). Rev. 12:11¹¹And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12:11).

Promises to. 2 Tim. 4:8⁸Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. THEY WHO HAVE,

Are loved by the Father. John 14:21, 23²¹He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:21)

John 16:27²⁷For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. (John 16:27).

Are loved by Christ. Prov. 8:17¹⁷I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. (Proverbs 8:17). Decrease of, rebuked. Rev. 2:4⁴Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. (Revelation 2:4).
