The kingdom of God was there when Christ the King was there; the kingdom of heaven began with Christ going to heaven. The kingdom of God has also a moral force which kingdom of heaven has not, and in this way is frequently used by Paul, and was peculiarly suitable to the Spirit’s design in Luke.
