Jesus has made peace for us with God through the shedding of His blood on Calvary’s cross. Today we can spend a few minutes from our busy lives to think about Calvary and the Lord’s death there. The blood that He shed on the cross washes away every stain of sin and makes us fit to be in God’s holy presence in heaven.

Oh, the peace forever flowing
From God’s thoughts of His own Son.
Oh, the peace of simply knowing
On the cross that all was done.
