Prudence

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself.
It’s not by accident that this verse occurs twice in the Scriptures. The definition of prudence is to be cautious, or to exercise sound judgment. We are being warned in these verses that we need to use caution in our daily walk. And when we see something developing that is evil and would be dangerous to our spiritual health, we should put sound judgment into operation and avoid the evil. We also need to be observant and not go around in a dream all the time. Satan is very clever. He spends his time trying to destroy Christians. So we must be always on guard. Watch out for evil - avoid it.
