And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
I wonder how many of us are this dedicated in our prayer habits. The Lord had a major decision to make the next day. Out of all those who had been His followers, He had to choose twelve special ones to whom He would give gifts of healing and preaching; twelve who would be with Him during the rest of His life here. It was not to be entered into lightly. So He spent all night in prayer about it. This is a great lesson for us. How many decisions do we make with this much help from the Lord?
