• The Scriptures, as a whole, are called the word of God. Any portion taken separately is a word, or saying of God. Now just, as “all Scripture is God-breathed,” so is every part of it, yea, every jot and tittle, divinely-inspired. It is therefore pure and perfect in itself. (“Proverbs Thirty” by H.A. Ironside)
