• Desirous of Zion’s restoration, they pray for the destruction of the enemies that have destroyed it (vs. 7-9). Edom and Babylon are both doomed to extinction in the books of the Prophets (Ob. 18, Isa. 13:19-20, 14:22). (“Book 5.” by B. Anstey)
