• After Israel is seen restored to the Lord and rejoicing in His presence, reference is made to the waves of the restless sea rising up. The sea is a well-known figure of the rebellious nations of the earth (Rev. 17:15, Ps. 46:2-3, Ps. 93:3-4, Isa. 17:12, etc.). It is the nations led by Russia who will rise up after the Lord has returned and restored Israel. The Lord stills the waves of the raging sea with His mighty power.
