Religion, or Christ?

Some take up the cause of religion very zealously, and yet have no heart for Christ. Let us inquire of our hearts how we stand in this matter. We live in a day when many are very religious; but being religious does not save us, nor make us fit for God's presence. We must have Christ for ourselves, or we are without God and without hope in the world. Let us ask ourselves, Have I Christ for myself? "Come unto ME." Matthew 11:2828Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28).
