Earl was a sick boy. His Sunday School teacher had just paid him a visit, and was leaving to make another.
“I must leave now, Earl, I am going to visit a poor sick woman.”
“Does she love the Saviour?” asked Earl.
“Yes, I believe she does.”
“Then she isn’t poor, she is rich.”
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might he rich.” 2 Cor. 8:99For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
