So you think that you’re not so bad? Ever wiped an old car engine with a clean, white cloth? Try it sometime. What it looks like is what your righteousness looks like to God UNLESS you have the righteousness of Christ. Then you are spotless. We can do nothing to gain favor with God. Only Christ can make us acceptable.
