He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all.
We often think of the Lord’s part in the salvation story - how He gave His life at Calvary so that we might go free. But there’s another side to the story - God’s side. The Father gave His only Son. He chose to give the dearest object of His heart. This is the ultimate sacrifice. God was willing, because of His love towards us, to give His own Son as the perfect sacrifice for sin. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.
