Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [or, obscure] men.
If you are going to do something, do it right - not half-right. Diligent means to be thorough, complete, and careful in your business, school work, or home duties. There’s a man who has made fishing reels for 45 years - just a few hundred each year. But he has done such a thorough job that his reels are owned by people around the world. Now we have something far better to do than make fishing reels. The gospel of Christ needs to go out. We should be very diligent in this important business, because we shall one day stand before the King of kings and rule with Him over the earth for 1000 years.
