17También oro puro para los garfios y para las palanganas, y para los incensarios, y para los tazones de oro, para cada tazón por peso; y para los tazones de plata, por peso para cada tazón:
18Además, oro puro por peso para el altar del perfume, y para el á manera de carro de los querubines de oro, que con las alas extendidas cubrían el arca del pacto de Jehová.
19Todas estas cosas, dijo David, se me han representado por la mano de Jehová que me hizo entender todas las obras del diseño.

The length.
the first measure.It is supposed, with much probability, that the first measure means the cubit used in the time of Moses, contradistinguished from that used in Babylon, and which the Israelites used after their return from captivity:
and, as these Books were written after the captivity, it was necessary for the writer to make this remark, lest it should be thought that the measurement was by the Babylonish cubit, which was a palm or one-sixth shorter than the cubit of Moses; which may serve to reconcile some variations in the historical books, with respect to numbers when applied to measures.

And this was Solomon’s foundation for the construction of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
