Imagine this sentence being in a letter that came to the assembly you go to. The letter is read in front of everyone. Suddenly you hear your name mentioned along with the name of someone else in the assembly with whom you have not been getting along lately. It would make you sit up and listen, wouldn’t it? That’s exactly what happened in the church in Philippi. Euodias and Syntyche were admonished publicly by the Apostle Paul to get along. I wonder if they stopped quarrelling? Let’s learn to get along.
