 I apprehend the meaning of the Lord’s words to be that, in his ministry John went on to the end — to the coming of Christ personally to judge the earth. ...The destruction of Jerusalem ended the history of the assembly as thus being an earthly center, and also ended the Jewish system connected with the law and promises.
