¹⁹Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, hearken and do! defer not, for thine own sake, O my God! for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. (Dan. 9:7‑14,18‑19)

• When they acknowledged their fault, {v.42} then He would remember the covenant made with their fathers, with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This was a covenant made without condition, and with the land. (“Leviticus 26” by J.N. Darby)
